Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman brought pure enchantment to CinemaCon 2026, reuniting on April 14 to unveil the first teaser for their highly anticipated Practical Magic sequel. Taking the stage to roaring applause, Kidman delighted the crowd with a playful, “The witches are back!” and just like that, the spell was cast.
Reprising their beloved roles as sisters Sally and Gillian Owens in Practical Magic 2, the duo offered a glimpse into the next chapter, revealing that the story will follow Sally’s daughters as they come of age and begin to navigate their own magical abilities. Fans can also expect the return of the Owens family’s iconic home lovingly rebuilt for the sequel along with signature touches like midnight margaritas, rooftop moments, and a past that refuses to stay buried.
The moment wasn’t without a little nostalgia. The pair cheekily nodded to Kidman’s now-iconic AMC Theatres ad, with Bullock teasing, “Why do we come here, Nicole?” prompting Kidman’s perfectly timed reply: “We come here for magic.”
Fashion-wise, Bullock turned heads in a striking red suit layered over a black leather bra, while Kidman leaned into ethereal elegance in a flowing black dress with subtle witchy undertones both looks perfectly in sync with the film’s mystical energy.
