Kelly Clarkson Can’t Wait To Hear Storm Reid’s New Music

Storm Reid is stepping into a new chapter, teaming up with Adam Sandler for their upcoming Netflix film Roommates and she’s got plenty to share. While chatting with Kelly Clarkson, Storm kept things light, fun, and refreshingly real.

Glowing and full of springtime energy, Storm laughed off Kelly’s compliments before diving into what she’s been cooking up lately music. She revealed she’s been spending time in the studio exploring smooth R&B vibes and figuring out her sound. What started as a spontaneous 3 a.m. studio session with friends during her college days quickly turned into something more meaningful. Growing up around music thanks to her mom, Storm said the experience just clicked and now, she’s all about trusting herself and going for it without waiting on permission.

When it comes to Roommates, Storm didn’t hesitate working with Adam Sandler was already a yes. But after reading the script, she was even more sold. Fresh off graduating from USC, she connected deeply with the film’s themes of friendship what it means to show up, grow, and sometimes get it wrong.

She also opened up about her college journey, going from homeschooling to campus life at USC. While it sounded intimidating at first, Storm embraced being “a fish out of water” and ended up loving the experience. And yes, she had a great roommate situation… for the most part. The only drama? A silent thermostat war with her best friend one liked it warm, the other needed it cool. They never addressed it at the time, but now it’s all laughs.

Between new music, a major Netflix release, and life after graduation, Storm Reid is clearly in her era and we’re here for all of it.
