The Philadelphia Eagles star quarterback is out with his new children’s book, “Better Than a Touchdown.”

Jalen shared that when he was younger, he often went to the school book fair and searched for children’s books that showed characters who looked like him. Many times he couldn’t find that representation, which made him realize how important it is for kids to see themselves reflected in stories. One day, however, he discovered a book by Tiki Barber that really stood out to him. The book focuses on the idea of community and follows a young person on a journey of gaining wisdom, learning to solve problems, and developing passion. Its overall message encourages children to embrace who they are and grow into the person they are destined to be.

During the discussion, one viewer asked Jalen what he enjoys doing in his free time. He shared that he loves preparing for football and spending time with his family.
