Celebrity Style: Gabrielle Union’s Brown Jumpsuit On Jennifer Hudson Show
The GOAT cast pulled up and let’s just say the show went completely off script in the best way. From a surprise, show-stopping duet between Jennifer Hudson and the legendary Jenifer Lewis, to Gabrielle Union finally spilling the story behind her iconic “Barbie” nickname (and when she first met Ayesha), the vibes were high and the moments unforgettable. Add in Jelly Roll, who shared the emotional reason he’s dedicating his Grammy win to the city of Nashville, and you’ve got a lineup packed with heart, humor, and star power.
Fashion-wise, the collection spotlighted on the show leaned away from red-carpet-only drama and instead embraced everyday confidence pieces designed to make you feel polished and powerful at any hour. Think wool trench coats, razor-sharp tailoring, little black dresses, knit and satin silhouettes, studded denim, robe-style jackets, pencil skirts, pinstripes, lace, silk crêpon, draped faux leather, glossy vinyl, and bold animal textures. The conversation between menswear-inspired structure and unapologetic femininity was present in every look.
For the show, Gabby stepped out in a strapless pinstriped jumpsuit from Elisabetta Franchi’s Pre-Fall 2026 collection. While I didn’t find the silhouette especially flattering, it was undeniably interesting and that’s very on brand for her. Gabrielle consistently plays with unexpected shapes and architectural details, and even when a look doesn’t fully land, she commits to the fashion risk. And honestly? That fearless approach is part of what keeps her style conversation-worthy every time.
