This Halloween, talk show host and TV superfan Sherri Shepherd is stepping in to some of her favorite shows in a special episode of SHERRI airing Friday, October 31: SHERRI’S TV TAKEOVER.
From classic sitcoms to modern reboots and reality TV favorites, Sherri transforms into some of television’s most beloved and unforgettable characters complete with four costume changes. It’s a nostalgic, laugh-out-loud celebration of TV’s greatest moments, brought to life with Sherri’s signature humor and heart.
Each look is crafted with meticulous attention to detail by Sherri’s Emmy-nominated glam team:

Morticia Addams – Wednesday
Costume:
Created in collaboration with seamstress Ana Toval, the costume uses five yards of black stretch velvet and hand-beaded lace trim bell sleeves. The silhouette, inspired by Catherine Zeta-Jones’ portrayal, features a semi–sweetheart neckline gown.
Hair:
A 40-inch jet-black wig – sleek, straight, and center-parted – capturing Morticia’s dark elegance and timeless mystique.
Makeup:
Pale, porcelain skin with a deep, dark lip and dramatically defined eyes.
Steve Urkel – Family Matters
With guests Reginald VelJohnson and Jo Marie Payton who played the Winslows on the beloved sitcom
Hair:
A sharp, structured flat-top afro with clean lines and a touch of nostalgic 90s flair.
Makeup:
Clean, natural skin to help Sherri resemble Urkel as closely as possible.
Costume:
Vintage ’90s–inspired straight-leg Lee jeans, a classic horizontal-striped polo, and Urkel’s signature suspenders.
Love Island Bombshell Contestant
Costume:
Asymmetrical-neck one-piece swimsuit with matching mesh sarong. Nude Barre fishnet tights in a custom skin tone — the brand prides itself on offering shades for every complexion.
Hair:
Long, beachy curls with effortless volume and sun-kissed movement. It’s the kind of hair that says flirty, free, and ready for golden hour.
Makeup:
A soft, radiant glow with peachy-pink lips and luminous, bronzed accents.
Jeannie – I Dream of Jeannie
Costume:
Created in collaboration with designer Todd Fisher New York, based on the 1965 original, the look features a velvet vest, pink chiffon balloon pants, and a hand-pleated bra top. Finished with color-matched pink Sergio Rossi heels.
Hair:
Perfect bangs paired with a sculpted, high braided bun creating a playful, polished, and full of vintage fantasy. A nod to old Hollywood magic with a whimsical twist.
Makeup:
Accentuated eyeliner, pale peach lips, and soft highlighting and contouring for a dreamy, feminine glow.
