Celebrity Style: Mariah Carey’s Leopard Dress On Jimmy Kimmel

Mariah Carey made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk to Guest Host Fortune Feimster about having her own personal wind machine, signing Rihanna’s boobs, working at a sports bar, buying a watermelon at Ralphs and posting a picture out front, how to become a gay icon, her new album “Here For It All,” not acknowledging the passage of time, having three different album covers, and discovering her “good side,” and going to Disneyland.

For the show, Mariah stepped out in a look that was unmistakably Mariah. For her recent appearance the iconic singer embraced a bold, ‘90s-inspired aesthetic right down to the hair and accessories.

She wore a figure-hugging leopard-print midi dress by Balmain, made from jacquard knit and featuring a plunging V-neckline, halter straps with snap closures, and a sleek bodycon silhouette. Retailing for $3,800, the dress fell mid-calf and delivered pure retro glamour with a modern edge.

Carey elevated the look with statement accessories, including a chunky silver chain choker, stacked silver cuffs, gold hoop earrings, and her signature black rectangular sunglasses. Completing the ensemble: sheer black tights and a show-stopping pair of Louis Vuitton Swing platform sandals.

The $1,900 heels were encrusted with sparkling rhinestones along the wide upper and delicate straps. A tone-on-tone LV Twist detail, inspired by the house’s iconic bag clasp, adorned the front strap. The patent leather block heel featuring a distinctive half-flower shape with a silver-toned interior, added architectural drama to the look, while a front platform ensured elevated comfort.

From head to toe, the ensemble was a glamorous nod to Carey’s signature style: confident, luxe, and unmistakably diva-worthy.
