Selena Gomez attended Netflix’s “Emilia Perez” Canadian premiere during the Toronto International Film Festival at Princess of Wales Theatre on September 09, 2024 in Toronto, Ontario.

The 32-year-old Actress picked out a custom black sequin gown, adorned with a pretty flower. She finished her look with a Hollywood-inspired hairdo and red lip! I thought this was a perfect look for her first-ever Spanish speaking role. She told a reporter that she was extremely nervous. She plays Jessi Del Monte, the wife of drug cartel leader Emilia Pérez (Karla Sofía Gascón), who tries to fake her death.

Lots of people probably would opt out for a more toned-down look but sequins just stands out in a crowd of many. And as the star of a movie, you definitely want to shine bright and be noticed!
